WHAT DOES A CLASS LOOK LIKE?
A TYPICAL 1 HOUR CLASS:
Skipping or jogging to warm up :
Individual body based exercises to promote cardiovascular health for the first 10 minutes.
Technical training :
Shadowboxing and the emphasis on proper form and technique, posture, breathing, etc.
Pad work :
Members will be paired up and will practice the techniques shown in the technical portion of class on the pads. One partner will hold pads, the other will have boxing gloves, this portion helps to induce flow state, build muscle memory, and sharpen technique.
Last but not least stretching :
At the end of every class, we will take a moment to stretch, breathe deeply, and allow the blood to flow, endorphins to settle, and limbs to loosen. This ensures you can either enjoy a restful night's sleep or start your day feeling relaxed and revitalized!
